Job summary

Palo Alto Innovation Labs seeks an Intranet Specialist to support and evolve intranet and digital workplace platforms built on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. You will work with stakeholders, IT, and end users to deliver a high-quality user experience and governance adherence.

You will develop content, provide end-user support, and participate in governance, with opportunities to learn Power Platform and AI-enabled tools to enhance collaboration across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture (sites, pages, libraries, lists, permissions, web parts).
• Experience supporting end users and business stakeholders in a professional environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated customer-service mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality support.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, libraries, lists, and web parts using established standards and best practices.
• Support creation, publishing, and maintenance of intranet content across business functions.
• Ensure content is organized, accurate, current, and aligned with standards.
• Assist with migration efforts from legacy platforms to modern SharePoint Online environments.
• Provide day-to-day support to site owners, content contributors, and business users.
• Troubleshoot SharePoint-related issues and respond to user inquiries.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend solutions.
• Promote effective use of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Conduct governance and quality reviews to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Support site lifecycle management, permissions reviews, and content governance processes.
• Assist in maintaining governance related to site ownership, Teams administration, and content management practices.
• Monitor adherence to branding, accessibility, and usability guidelines.
• Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and knowledge articles.
• Deliver training sessions and support adoption of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Promote best practices for content creation, information architecture, and user engagement.
