Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology on-campus Recreation and Wellness Programs is seeking a professional to design and deliver the intramural and wellness program, fostering student engagement, leadership development, and well-being.

The role includes supervising 70+ student employees, coordinating 30+ leagues each semester, and collaborating with campus partners to promote student success, wellness, and inclusive participation. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the design, development, and implementation of recreational and wellness programs.
• Supports the delivery and logistics for wellness education programs, including the curriculum, facilitation, and evaluation.
• Assesses programs’ effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and other tools to continuously improve quality and impact.
• Supports budget planning and resource allocations for programs.
• Engages with internal partners and external stakeholders to obtain support for the Center of Recreational Sprots mission and objectives.
• Assist student employees and adjunct staff.
• Trains student-staff as well as fosters a positive and supportive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned
