Job summary

Mercy Home Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist with fluoroscopic and neuro-interventional procedures, working with sterile technique and following radiation safety guidelines. You will prepare patients, coordinate with referring physicians, and document findings in the EMR.

The role requires ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and preferred ACLS, with state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification/registration required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• State licensure preferred (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Prepare patients and provide procedure explanations to obtain cooperation.
• Communicate with referring physicians for order clarification when needed.
• Use EMR to review patient information, enter preliminary reports, and document findings.
• Complete tasks within appropriate timeframes and adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of vascular anatomy and correlation of lab results with other procedures.
