Job summary

Mercy Home Health seeks a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, using sterile technique and documenting medications and radiation exposure in compliance with laws and policies.

You will prepare patients for procedures, explain steps, and coordinate with physicians to ensure accuracy and safety while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certification in ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required or preferred.
• BLS certification required or preferred prior to direct patient care.
• ACLS and CVIR/VI certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Practitioner in fluoroscopic, interventional and neuro-interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
• Review patient information in the EMR and document critical findings.

Education

Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
