Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform varied imaging procedures in line with scope and practice standards. You will assist in preparing and positioning patients, help with interventional suites, and adhere to radiation safety and patient care policies.

The role requires ARRT certification, an associate degree or technical certification, and CPR certification. VI certification within 24 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification required.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and Registration required.
• VI Certification preferred, within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the interventional suite with instruments and supplies.
• Utilize aseptic techniques and standard precautions; follow policy for contrast, medication, and specimen handling.
• Assist with preparing, positioning, and draping patients and ensure correct patient and surgical site.
