Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures per scope and policy, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. You will work with the interventional team, uphold aseptic and radiation safety standards, and support efficient department operations.

Required: associate degree or technical certification and ARRT radiography certification; CPR; background checks; VI certification within 24 months if applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical school credential plus radiography certification/ARRT.
• VI certification required within 24 months of hire (if applicable).
• Current CPR certification and background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up interventional suite with appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow radiation safety standards.
• Position, drape, and assist in procedures and ensure correct patient/site.
• Document procedures for regulatory, billing, and image distribution.
• Monitor and maintain interventional supplies; participate in inventory control.
• Adapt to provider preferences and update related materials as needed.
• Perform additional duties and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Education

Associate's degree or certification from a technical school
