Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Richmond, VA to assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures and manage equipment. You will prepare the room, stock supplies, and maintain sterile technique while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT certification or state licensure, 1 year minimum experience (4–6 years desirable), and proficiency with C-Arm, ultrasound equipment, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree desirable; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure per state regulations; Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred; 4–6 years related experience desirable.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions; ability to operate radiology systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies.
• Set up and stock procedure rooms with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures and operate fluoroscopy.
• Manage patient data entry (C-Arm) and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Train and orient new staff and participate in CQI meetings.
