Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Richmond, VA, seeks an experienced Radiology Technician to assist physicians during interventional procedures and manage the procedure room. Candidates should have ARRT certification and familiarity with C-Arm and ultrasound equipment; prior interventional radiology experience and a strong emphasis on sterile technique are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations)
• Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Sets up/stocks procedure room with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Assists physician during interventional procedures using fluoroscopy while maintaining sterile technique.
