Job summary

Advocate Health Pineville is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in invasive angio and interventional procedures, performing scrub and circulation duties while delivering total patient care during and after procedures.

Requirements include ARRT/RCIS eligibility, CPR, and experience with fluoroscopy. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with night shift hours and a sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Completion of accredited Interventional Radiology program or RCIS qualification.
• Registered/certified by ARRT or RCIS; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional procedures under physician supervision.
• Explain procedures to patients and prep them for procedures.
• Obtain medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast as directed.
• Circulate during procedures and monitor patient comfort.
• Provide supplies for invasive procedures and report information to holding area.
• Remove catheters/sheaths and apply direct pressure when needed.
• Document hemodynamic reports, contrast records, and charges.
• Report equipment malfunctions to leadership or engineers.
