Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in invasive Angio and interventional procedures, covering patient care during and after procedures in the IR Suite.

Responsibilities include surgical scrub and circulation, equipment handling, and accurate documentation of hemodynamic and contrast media data, with PRN scheduling and on-site patient support at Cabarrus location.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT credential or equivalent radiologic training.
• Experience in interventional radiology preferred.
• Proficiency in patient preparation, positioning and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage.
• Explain procedures to patients and prep them for procedures.
• Circulate during procedures and maintain patient comfort.
• Record hemodynamic and contrast media data accurately.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready for interventional procedures.
