Mercyhealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures on a night shift. The role involves patient preparation, sterile technique, assisting physicians, and monitoring during fast-paced procedures.

Ideal candidates have an accredited radiography program, ARRT certification or eligibility, and willingness to meet additional certifications within specified timelines. The position includes a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent training/education.
• Board cert ARRT or eligible to take boards within six months of hire; NIHSS/ACLS/BLS where applicable.
• ACLS within six months (Rockford Only); NIHSS within six months (Rockford Only).
• Passing Wisconsin or Illinois background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and consent.
• Review allergies and contrast history prior to procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile supplies and sterile technique.
• Assist in procedures and monitor patient data and safety.
• Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses.
• Provide post-procedural care and prepare equipment for sterilization.
• Adhere to radiation safety and protective measures.
• Participate in Quality Assessment & Improvement.
