Job summary

Advocate Health Pineville is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in invasive Angio and interventional procedures in the Interventional Radiology Suite. You will perform surgical scrub and circulation duties, and provide total patient care during and after procedures.

Required are ARRT-certified radiologic technologist credentials with CPR; experience in interventional radiology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology Interventional Program or ARRT/RCIS graduate from Cardiovascular Interventional Training Program.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional procedures under physician direction.
• Explains procedures to patients and preps for procedures.
• Circulates during procedures and maintains patient comfort.
• Records and processes hemodynamic reports, contrast media records and charges.
