Atrium Health Pineville is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in invasive angiographic procedures within the Interventional Radiology Suite. Responsibilities include surgical scrub, patient prep, and circulating to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Minimum requirements include ARRT radiology certification, completion of an Interventional Radiology program or ARRT/RCIS training, and CPR. ACLS preferred. A 1-year diagnostic and 1-year IR experience is preferred.

The function of the Interventional Radiology Technologist is to assist in the various invasive Angio, and interventional procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Suite. Responsible for surgical scrub and circulation duties, performing total patient care during and post the procedure, while the patient is in the Interventional Radiology area.
Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology. Completion of an accredited Radiology Interventional Program required or an ARRT/RCIS graduate from a Cardiovascular Interventional Training Program
Registered and certified by the ARRT or RCIS required. CPR certification required.
Must meet all required elements of competency checklist for level.
Requires standing and walking while wearing 10 to 15-pound lead radiation protection aprons. Exposure to radiation, secretions and blood. Confined working area. Normal vision, manual dexterity and good eye and hand coordination is necessary to operate equipment. Constant concentration required during procedures.
1 year in diagnostic and 1 year in Interventional Radiology preferred.
ACLS preferred
