Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT VI or CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, and related studies.
• Completes post-processing and related record keeping.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Provides patient education and effective communication throughout procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and dose reduction practices.
• Position patients and select correct protocol and operate imaging equipment for all age groups.
