MaineHealth is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist I for Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. This entry-level role supports routine diagnostic procedures and highly complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions, assisting across oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology, and nephrology.

The successful candidate will complete an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program, hold Maine licensure and ARRT radiography certification, and have a current or soon-to-be BLS

Qualifications

  • Maine state Radiologic Technologist license required; ARRT radiography certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Two years of acute care imaging experience or one year advanced modality imaging experience.

Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist I role is an entry level position and will assist in routine diagnostic and highly complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions. The technologist is also required to be competent in a wide variety of procedures referred by oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology and nephrology. The technologist must follow established protocols and guidelines for use by providers in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Completion of a two year program of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required.

2. License/Certifications: Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist through the state of Maine required; Certification in Radiography with the ARRT required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

3. Experience: Two years of acute care experience as an imaging technologist OR one year advanced modality imaging experience required.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
