Job summary

Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, MI seeks a Special Procedures Technologist to assist physicians in diagnostic and invasive procedures in the Interventional Radiology Lab, focusing on peripheral angiography, stent placement, PTA, cerebral angiography, embolizations, and related therapies.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, BCLS, and preferred: two years of Hybrid Operating Room, Interventional, or Cardiovascular Technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for procedures and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Operate imaging equipment and position accessories to obtain diagnostic results.
• Assist physicians with guidewires, catheters, balloons, and stents in invasive procedures.
• Ensure aseptic technique and perform scrub duties as required.
• Maintain safety, privacy, and confidentiality of patient information.
