Job summary

Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide imaging services using fluoroscopy, angiography, angio-CT hybrid units and ultrasound. You will assist radiologists, ensure patient safety, and maintain image quality in a hybrid/on-site work environment.

Responsibilities include protecting patients, preparing contrast media under supervision, and adhering to ARRT and AHA certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of radiologic technology or equivalent experience.
• ARRT radiography certification obtained by hire; VI certification within 2 years.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Corroborates patient history and DOB for procedures.
• Position patient and apply radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment per protocols and evaluate image quality.
• Assist radiologist during fluoroscopy, angiography, CT/ultrasound procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver excellent service.
