Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to operate angiographic and ultrasound equipment for a range of procedures. You will assist with interventional and surgical cases, monitor patients, and ensure diagnostic-quality imaging.

You will maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff. Required are ARRT certification, radiologic technology education, and current BLS/ACLS with the ability to work in fast-paced settings

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Operate angiographic and ultrasound equipment for inpatients and outpatients.
• Assist interventions as scrub assistant with equipment knowledge.
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies with CPR when needed.
• Identify and process diagnostic-quality images and label them accurately.
• Maintain records and input data into radiology information systems.
