Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Special Procedure Technologist. This part-time role supports the Interventional Radiology team, coordinates daily workflows, and ensures patient comfort while meeting technical standards.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT and NJ DEP licenses, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of radiology experience, with procedural IR experience preferred. The position requires day shifts with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license.
• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating the daily work schedule and room preparation.
• Collaborates with physicians for proper orders, x-ray requisitions and lab results.
• Maintains proper technique to minimize radiation exposure for patient safety.
• Operates digital and conventional imaging equipment and related contrast injectors.
