RWJBarnabas Health is hiring an RN for the Special Procedures Interventional Radiology unit at RWJ New Brunswick. The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year in critical care or 2 years telemetry/step-down with strong clinical judgment.

The position features a Part-Time Day shift with on-call weekends/holidays, 40 hours weekly, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• 1 year of RN experience in Critical Care or 2 years in Telemetry/Step Down.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred or to be completed within 5 years of hire.
• CCRN and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR for continuity of care.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and seamless communication.
• Collaborate in a highly team-based environment with shared accountability.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through CE and ladder programs.
