RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Special Procedures Interventional Radiology unit at RWJ University Hospital New Brunswick. The role supports patient assessments, treatments, and education within a fast-paced, collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds a New Jersey RN license with BLS certification, 1 year in Critical Care or 2 years in Telemetry/Step Down, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing and BLS certification.
• 1 year of RN experience in Critical Care or 2 years of Telemetry/Step Down preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or to be completed within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of next steps.
