IR Centers in Monroe Township, NJ, seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures. You will scrub in, pass instruments, and help with patient positioning and transfers, ensuring sterility throughout.

The role requires at least 1 year in a sterile procedural environment and a valid BLS certificate; ARRT certification is preferred. The position is full-time, on-site in Monroe Township.

Formación

• High school diploma.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• At least 1 year of hands-on in a sterile procedural environment in the last 5 years. Must have scrubbed cases.
• ARRT Certification (Preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures.
• Reviews patient orders to determine necessary materials and sets up/cleans procedure rooms.
• Assists with patient prep, transfers, and positioning.
• Inputs patient data into the C-Arm and assists physicians during interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
• Complies with HIPAA, draws up and labels IV medications, and processes/archives x-ray images.
• Manages equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and hazardous waste disposal.
• May serve as Radiation Safety Officer and assist with accreditation surveys.
• Ensures effective communication with physicians.
• Assists with patient billing, verifying CPT, and ICD9 codes.
