The role involves performing advanced angiography, venography, and related studies, while ensuring safety and protocol adherence across varied patient populations.

The candidate will work with imaging teams, maintain post-processing tasks, and contribute to quality patient care with attention to radiation safety and dose optimization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and patient care tasks per protocols.
• Adheres to imaging protocols and age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Supports Radiation Safety policies and dose-reduction practices.
• Provides patient education and clear communications per standards.
• Positions patients and selects correct protocols using imaging equipment for exams.
