Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in interventional radiology to join our diagnostic team. You will perform angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and related procedures across diverse patient populations.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, ARRT VI/CI preferred, and BLS certification. Registration with ARRT is required by law.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).
• BLS Certification.
• Advance ARRT Certification in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record keeping.
• Follows protocols and age-specific imaging practices for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Positions patients, selects protocols, and uses required equipment to perform procedures.
• Maintains competency across related imaging components and adheres to radiation safety policies.
