Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to assist physicians, prepare rooms, and manage equipment for procedures. You will ensure sterile technique, safety compliance, and accurate documentation while supporting patient care throughout the interventional workflow.

Requirements include ARRT certification or state licensure, 4–6 years of related experience, and proficiency with C-Arm and ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable.
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred for advanced roles.
• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations) Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
• Experience with interventional procedures and materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room per policies and regulations.
• Set up/procure procedure trays and stock all needed supplies.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions and concerns.
• Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and anesthesia prep as needed.
• Operate C-Arm and perform fluoroscopy under physician supervision.
• Maintain sterile technique and HIPAA compliance; document and archive imaging.
• Manage equipment maintenance and inventory; support CQI initiatives.
• Assist in training new staff and coordinated communication with physicians.
