Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to assist physicians in radiology procedures and manage the procedure room per policy. The role involves preparing patients, equipment, and ensuring sterile technique, while adhering to HIPAA and documentation standards.

The candidate will handle patient transfers, operate C-Arm, and assist with imaging and post-procedure care, with focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree desirable; IR certificate preferred.
• ARRT certification and/or state licensure as per regulations.
• Experience with interventional procedures and required materials/supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures per policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine materials and supplies needed.
• Set up and stock procedure room and trays prior to procedures; clean post-procedure.
