Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Support professional to assist physicians and manage the radiology procedure room. You will prepare patients, set up equipment, and maintain sterile technique while coordinating with staff and physicians to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include imaging, documentation, and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory requirements, with opportunities to contribute to CQI initiatives and staff training.

Competenze

• 4–6 years related experience desirable.
• 1 year experience with ARRT preferred.
• Working knowledge of interventional equipment (C-Arm, ultrasound).
• Experience with interventional procedures and maintaining required supplies.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.

Mansioni

• Prepare patient and procedure room in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review patient procedure orders to determine needed materials.
• Set up and stock procedure room and trays with supplies and equipment.
• Prepare patient, position, shave, and prep as needed for procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Transfer patients and transport to/from the procedure room.
• Operate C-Arm and document imaging data.
• Assist physician during interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Draw and label intravenous medications per policy.
• Process and archive x-ray images per records policy.
• Support CQI initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with inventory management and supply re-stocking.
• Participate in training and orientation of new staff.
• Ensure accurate patient billing and CPT/ICD codes.
