Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and assists the radiologist in completion of radiographic procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of radiation protection and safety, infection control, TB and standard precautions.
• Uses RIS, CIS, PACS and SMS to access information and document status of procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and history relevant to the examination order, assesses patient condition and safety.
