Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Bellflower, CA seeks an Interventional Radiology Technician to support radiology procedures. The role requires ARRT certification and CA RT license, with experience in sterile technique and imaging equipment. You will assist physicians, manage supplies, and ensure patient safety and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree desirable; high school diploma required. ARRT certification and CA RT license required by state regulations.
• Experience with interventional procedures and maintaining required materials/supplies for each procedure.
• Proficient in sterile techniques and radiation safety practices; familiarity with imaging systems and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room per policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine needed materials/supplies.
• Set up and stock procedure room; assist with sterile technique during procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions/concerns.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and prepping for procedures.
• Input patient data into imaging systems; operate C-Arm under supervision.
• Scrub assist during interventional procedures and monitor fluoroscopy.
