Job summary
The Interventional Radiology Technologist I at MaineHealth/Maine Medical Center is an entry level role supporting routine diagnostic and complex invasive neuro and peripheral procedures. You will work within established protocols and assist across oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology, and nephrology, gaining competence in a wide range of procedures.
Requirements include an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program (two years), Maine licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS.
Qualifications
- Two years of acute care imaging experience or one year advanced modality imaging experience.
- Completion of ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Maine licensure as Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification.
- BLS certification either current or obtained within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Assist in routine diagnostic and highly complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment.
- Be competent across procedures referred by oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology and nephrology.
