Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program; associate degree preferred.
• Maintain Maine license RT; ARRT certification required.
• Experience in Interventional, Peripheral Vascular, or Cardiac Cath; training offered.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders.
• Educate patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope.
• Monitor patient and respond to status changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies.
• Set exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Ensure safety standards and QC procedures.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and report issues.
• Position patient and perform procedures.
• Enter, transmit and report findings.
