Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Reviews procedure orders to determine needed materials and supplies.
• Sets up and stocks procedure room and trays; cleans room and equipment after procedures.
• Prepares patient for procedures and explains procedures; assists with patient positioning and transfers.
• Assists physician during interventional procedures; operates fluoroscopy to visualize blood vessels.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Draws IV medications and labels per medication policy.
• Processes and archives x-ray images per records policies.
