Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support interventional radiology and cardiovascular procedures across multiple locations. You will handle pre-procedural setup, operate fluoroscopy equipment, and assist physicians, nurses, and technicians to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Required are ARRT certification, BLS, ACLS (upon hire), and the ability to float between sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist and 1 year in a Special Procedure Radiology Setting or Cardiac Cath Lab Setting.
• Current BLS certification and CRT license/certification.
• CDHP Radiologic Technologist Fluroscopy permit and ARRT license/certification.
• Ability to float between UCI Health locations and adapt to a changing environment.
• ACLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologist, cardiologist, vascular surgeon, or other physicians during minimally invasive and invasive fluoroscopic guided procedures.
• Perform pre-procedural set‑up, operate radiology and support equipment, maintain sterile field and assist during procedures.
• Manage image archive and documentation for supply management, billing, and procedural records.
• Support training of less senior radiologic technologists and students.
• Coordinate with attending physicians, fellows, clinical nurses, and CVTs to ensure high-quality patient care.
