Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support interventional radiology, cardiology, vascular surgery, and other physicians in fluoroscopic guided procedures.

You will perform pre-procedural setup, operate radiology equipment, maintain sterility, assist during procedures, and manage image archives and documentation for billing and quality care. Will float between UCI Health locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years Radiologic Technologist experience and 1 year in a Special Procedure Radiology Setting or Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current BLS certification.
• CRT license/certification.
• CDHP Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy permit.
• ARRT license/certification.
• ACLS certification upon hire.
• Willingness to float between UCI Health locations.
• Ability to work evenings, nights and/or weekends; on-call when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during fluoroscopic guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Pre-procedure setup and operation of radiology and support equipment.
• Maintain sterile field, scrub, and circulating assistance during procedures.
• Manage image archives and appropriate documentation for billing and procedural records.
• Participate in training of less senior radiologic technologists and students.
