Job summary

Penn Medicine Doylestown Health in Doylestown, PA, seeks a full-time Interventional Radiology Scheduler to support procedural scheduling and front desk tasks.

Qualifications

• H.S Diploma/ GED Required.
• Two years of experience in a health care environment; EMR knowledge (NextGen) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate procedures and appointments in IRAD.
• Assist patients through the continuum of care and explain insurance and scheduling.
• Verify diagnoses codes, CPT codes, appointments, tests and other information.
• Navigate EMR/EPM systems (eClinical Works, Meditech) to review records and appointments.
• Greet patients, verify insurance/referrals, and assist with check-in/out as assigned.
• Maintain annual new patient information sheets and update changes.
• Provide clerical support to Interventional Radiology staff and physicians.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with patients and staff.
