Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Nurse to join a dynamic team providing specialized nursing support for image-guided procedures. You will assess and prepare patients, assist during procedures, administer medications, and monitor for reactions to ensure safe, high-quality care throughout the procedural process.

You will collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• BSN or MSN required.
• ICU and/or IR/Cath experience within 3 years.
• Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Ability to develop a care plan with goals, monitor progress, and document.
• Ability to implement interventions aligned with the care plan.
• Ability to delegate tasks in a leadership-focused, team-oriented manner.
• Ability to educate patients, families, and staff on clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Float between Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, and Santa Monica Outpatient Center locations as assigned.
• Provide specialized nursing support for minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
• Assist during procedures, monitor patients, and manage medications and reactions.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
