Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking an experienced RN to coordinate nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. You will perform comprehensive assessments, establish IV access, and monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring safe, compassionate care in a procedural environment.

Minimum one year of acute-care nursing and an active Louisiana RN license are required, along with BLS and ACLS. Prior IR, CCU, ED, or perioperative experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with acute-care nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required.
• Experience in interventional radiology or procedural environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate nursing care for interventional radiology patients.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments before procedures and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Establish IV access and provide direct nursing care during procedures.
