Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Los Angeles, CA, to assist with interventional radiology procedures in a controlled, non-emergency setting. The role requires an unrestricted CA license and at least 1 year of special procedures experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment.

Day, weekend, and holiday 10-hour shifts are available. You will administer medications and moderate sedation, perform pre- and post-procedure care, and support physicians during interventional radiology

Qualifications

CA license/certification in good standing
Minimum 1 year Special Procedures nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution
AHA BLS Certification
LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (LA City)
LA County Employee Health Clearance before start date
Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required
Copy of current required certifications (BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test)

Responsibilities

Assist providers with diagnostic, therapeutic and minimally invasive procedures
Provide specialized nursing care for interventional radiology and vascular procedures
Perform pre-procedure assessments and obtain patient histories and consents
Administer medications and moderate sedation per hospital policy
Monitor patients during procedures and assist physicians and technologists
Provide post-procedure recovery and patient education
