Job summary

The US Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Special Procedures Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for Veterans undergoing diagnostic and invasive radiologic and cardiac procedures.

The RN will administer and monitor moderate sedation, manage high-acuity patients, and coordinate care with physicians, technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in the United States.
• GNT exception allows temporary appointment during licensure pursuit.
