Job summary

IR Centers is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology for its outpatient radiology services. You will assess patients, develop and modify care plans, and support procedures with moderate sedation across all ages.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, explaining procedures, maintaining records, and collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality care and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain.
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures, ensuring policy compliance.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns while protecting privacy (HIPAA).
• Support quality patient care by implementing facility action plans and goals.
• Provide team support with sound judgment and problem solving.
• Maintain accurate, regulatory-compliant medical records and perform audits.
• Keep facility clean and safe; inspect equipment; manage supplies.
• Assist with hazardous waste disposal and environmental standards.
• Attend meetings; collaborate with physicians and address concerns.
• Develop radiography policies and support regulatory surveys.
• Administer moderate sedation during procedures.
• Conduct pre-op and follow-up calls.
