Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Heart & Vascular Institute. You will assist physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology procedures, support patient care, and help maintain sterile fields and equipment readiness.

This role includes on-call duties; a sign-on bonus is offered. Required credentials include ARRT Radiography, ACLS within 1 year, and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (IEMA/Illinois).

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT Registered in Radiography.
• Illinois Radiologic Technologist license (IEMA) required.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material per physician request.
• Assists under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Verifies patient and chart information and positioning.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and safety.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist functions.
• On-call duties and variable shifts as needed.
