Job summary

UPMC Mercy Health Center is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support our Interventional Radiology team across UPMC hospitals. The role emphasizes procedures and inpatient/outpatient coordination within a strong teaching environment.

Radiology experience is preferred; you will collaborate closely with IR residents, fellows, and faculty to deliver high-quality patient care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Radiology experience preferred.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in good standing.
• Ability to perform interventional procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional radiology procedures (paracenteses, thoracenteses, FNAs, biopsies, vascular access).
• Provide inpatient rounding and coordination with IR team.
• Support residents/fellows and faculty in a teaching environment.
