Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is hiring an Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant to join a 6-PA team. The PA performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and provides direct patient care for a diverse pediatric population at Philadelphia and King of Prussia campuses.

Schedule is three 12-hour days with rotating Saturdays. Under physician supervision, the PA manages clinical practice, education, and research, while mentoring others and advancing patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree as a Physician Assistant is required.
• PA licensure in Pennsylvania upon hire is required.
• PA-C certification upon hire is required.
• Prescriptive Authority in PA within 3 months is required.
• BLS certification upon hire is required.
• PALS certification upon hire is required; NRP preferred.
• Annual influenza vaccine is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily assessments and document progress for a patient cohort.
• Perform advanced procedures listed in the Scope of Practice and credentialing.
• Serve as a consultant to multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage in scholarly activities, education, and professional development.
• Promote patient safety and report potential safety issues.
