UPMC Presbyterian, Shadyside, Magee, Mercy and Passavant hospitals are hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) to support the Interventional Radiology team. Radiology experience is preferred.

Hours are Monday–Friday daylight with possible on-call and weekend shifts. This role involves approximately 75% procedural work, 10% inpatient rounding, 10% outpatient clinic, and 10% inpatient care, with duties across multiple UPMC campuses.

Qualifikationen

• Radiology experience preferred.
• PA must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• Current state PA license and NCCPA certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Clearances (Act 33/34/73) required.
• Postgraduate certifications listed may be preferred for some roles.

Aufgaben

• Assist in interventional radiology procedures (paracenteses, thoracenteses, FNAs, biopsies, vascular access with ultrasound/fluoroscopy/CT).
• Inpatient rounding and case coordination.
• Limited outpatient clinic support; coordination with IR residents, fellows, and faculty.

ACLS/ITLS/NALS/PALS certifications
