Job summary

Radiology Partners' RP Phoenix is seeking a Physician Assistant to work in the Interventional Radiology section. This hospital-based role is highly procedurally oriented, performing biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and placing central venous access from simple to advanced levels.

Pre- and post-procedural evaluation of IR patients is included; no outpatient clinic duties. Qualifications include AZ PA license, ARC-accredited PA program, active DEA, BLS/ACLS, PALS, and IR procedure

Qualifications

• Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a PA in the State of Arizona is required.
• Must be a graduate of an ARC accredited PA program, have an active DEA license and Arizona state license, and BLS/ACLS certification PALS certification required.
• Interventional Radiology or comparable invasive procedure experience.

Responsibilities

• Placement, evaluation, and removal of tunneled and non-tunneled lines (including PICC lines and temporary hemodialysis catheters)
• Thoracentesis and Paracentesis; US/CT-guided drains and biopsies
• Spinal procedures (lumbar punctures and myelograms); Venograms; Arthrograms; other duties as assigned
