Job summary

Reading Hospital in Reading, PA is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Interventional Radiology team. The APP will conduct clinical consultations, manage inpatient care, coordinate outpatient follow-up, and perform image-guided procedures with IR physicians.

You will educate patients, review imaging, and contribute to care pathways within a multidisciplinary IR service. The role emphasizes collaboration with IR physicians, communication with hospital teams, and ongoing quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (4-year) required.
• Relevant experience in interventional radiology/AP role.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NCCPA certification; PA license in Pennsylvania; PA Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounds and manage IR patients in collaboration with IR physicians.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient consultations to evaluate patients and plan treatments.
• Provide outpatient follow-up and coordinate post-procedural care.
• Perform image-guided procedures within APP scope (paracenteses, thoracenteses, ultrasound liver biopsies).
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care requirements.
• Document encounters and ensure accurate medical records.
