Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine in New York's Upper East Side seeks a Procedural Physician Assistant with an RT license to join the Interventional Radiology team. The PA will manage outpatient care with some inpatient coordination, perform histories, exams, ECGs, and assist with fluoroscopy and CT-guided interventional procedures.

Expect to diagnose, manage, and create treatment plans under physician supervision; schedule Monday-Friday with 4-10 hour days, and coordinate care for new and established

Qualifications

• Graduate from ARC-PA accredited program.
• New grads may be considered; 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• Licensed NYS Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification.
• BLS, ACLS or PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in outpatient and inpatient settings with supervising physician.
• Coordinate care for established and new patients with timely follow-ups.
• Assist in surgeries and procedures; document findings and plan of care.
• Prescribe medications as indicated and educate patients and families.
• Coordinate schedules for new patients across subspecialties.
• Maintain clinical and research databases and coordinate trials.
• Prescreen and triage patients; collect medical materials when scheduling.
• Communicate with care team and ensure comprehensive care delivery.
