Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora seeks an Interventional Rad Spec I PRN to join a high-volume radiology team. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures under radiologist supervision and contribute to accurate paperwork and patient history.

You should hold ARRT certification, maintain BLS/ACLS, and have completed an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program. Prefer 2 years of recent hospital angiographic interventional experience.

Qualifications

• Current certification by ARRT. Must maintain current registry.
• Must maintain BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program.
• Prefer 2 years recent hospital angiographic interventional experience. Skills commensurate with formal training requirement

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric.
• Generate appropriate paperwork including requisitions, film jackets, charges and provides a complete history of patient.
• Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.
• Responsible for supply/inventory management. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Under the supervision of the Radiologist and supervisor, performs diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric.
