Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Colorado is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist II PRN to deliver high-quality patient care within a dynamic radiology team.

You will apply expertise in interventional procedures, collaborate with radiologists and clinicians, and participate in a rotating call schedule including weekends and holidays. The role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with training in interventional techniques.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiology Technology training program required and ARRT registration maintained.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN diploma or equivalent qualifying radiology credential acceptable.
• ARRT-R/ARRT-VI/RVT or related interventional credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge of interventional procedures and provide patient care with service excellence.
• Communicate effectively within Interventional Radiology and with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Prioritize daily tasks with critical thinking and contribute to team goals.
• Be willing to enter call rotation including weekends/holidays and cross-train to other modalities.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Interventional Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology in which minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. These doctors specialise in using nonsurgical techniques for targeted treatments.

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you can expect to do the following:

You will be responsible for solid expert knowledge of all Special/Interventional Procedures and being able to provide appropriate and positive patient care and exemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.

Your role maintains strong communication and organization within Interventional Radiology, as well interdepartmentally, and with radiologist and referring physicians.

You will consistently demonstrate critical thinking skills in day to day job prioritization, and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.

You must be willing to enter call rotation, to include weekend and holidays, as well as be willing to cross train to one or more modalities, as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• Current ARRT RT(R)(VI) or (CV) and current BLS Required.
• Interventional/Special Procedure experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (ARRT-VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Vocational School Graduate
