Job Summary & Responsibilities

This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora, optimizing the quality of life for all patients through diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients from adolescents to geriatric ages.

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist and supervisor, perform diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures.
• Generate appropriate paperwork including requisitions, film jackets, charges, and complete patient history.
• Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.
• Maintain supply/inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor when needed.

Qualifications

• Current certification by ARRT. Must maintain current registry.
• Maintain BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program.
• Prefer 2 years of recent hospital angiographic interventional experience. Skills commensurate with formal training requirement.
